The Biomedical Equipment Technology diploma provides individuals with the training to prepare them for entry-level employment in biomedical equipment technology.  Emphasis is placed on theory and application in areas such as networking, operating systems, hospital safety standards, biomedical equipment instrumentation, and trouble shooting.  Upon completion of this diploma, students should be prepared to begin work in the biomedical equipment technology field.
